Although the 700 Technical Sessions scheduled for this years conference with 300 customer speakers, the 110 Hands On Labs, and numerous Usability Sandboxes to qualify as exceptional reasons for attending this years Information on Demand (IOD) 2012 Conference in Las Vegas (October 21-25, 2012), there is still al lot of that good old, let’s unwind with friends, kind of fun that make for pretty good supporting reasons for attending.
I don’t think there will ever be another opportunity to use those two phrases in the same title again. However, this time, they go together perfectly.
Next week is the 2012 IBM System z Technical University at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference runs from October 1 – 5, 2012 so you don’t have all that much time left to make your arrangements.

DB2 10 once again offers a skip level migration from DB2 Version 8 to DB2 10.
