What perfect timing. Just last week I published a blog post asking the question “Do you think we’re heading for a Mainframe skills shortage?” The subject of skills on System z, especially DB2 for z/OS, is of particular interest to me. As pointed out in the comments, if there is a skills shortage, then why is it so difficult for some to locate jobs on System z; both z/OS folks and DB2 for z/OS folk.
