Yup, I’m “flying the Friendly Skies”*** once again.I’m finally getting the opportunity, good or bad, to get out in front of folks once again… Over the next two weeks I will be speaking at….
BWDB2UG (the Baltimore / Washington DB2 Users Group) Quarterly Meeting on Wednesday, June 13 in Columbia, MD
NEDB2UG (the New England DB2 Users Group) on Thursday, June 21 in Sturbridge, MA.
For BWDB2UG I’ll be presenting “Achieving the Best of Both Worlds – The hybrid data server approach”, a presentation about System z analytics and the DB2 Accelerator.
At NEDB2UG , I’ll be presenting the DB2 10 catalog enhancements.
I’m looking forward to rambling about a DB2 topic for an audience for a change (rather than my 4 year old Grandson) and visiting with a lot of old friends that I haven’t seen for a while..
To complete my June schedule, I am also doing the June 28, 2012 installment of the very popular DB2Night Show: z/OS Edition, #Z27 . I’ll be talking about the enhancements and uses for the EXPLAIN enhancements in DB2 10. Join me at 10:00 AM CDT for the no-charge webinar.
***Yes, I am paraphrasing (referring to) the old 1965 United Airline slogan “Fly the Friendly Skies” mostly because I am, or can’t avoid them since United took over my hometown airline, and my favorite airline for the 17 years, Continental.
