Although today’s post is about an APAR, I think this is too important (too cool) to simply run as just another “APAR Friday” post. This APAR delivers a function that I requested years ago; a method of building your DSNZPARM source so that it truly reflects what DSNZPARMs you are actually running. If everyone used the installation update panels, this wouldn’t be a problem for most of the parameters. Since few if any people actually do use the update panels, something had to be done to make the migration process along with the everyday use of DSNZPARMs a little easier….. Continue reading »
